Shop Review: "Well-balanced flavors of dark berries and plums. Spicy fruit finish."
Personal Review: This wine had the most earthy nose that I've sniffed to date. It had a distinguishable mulch aroma, and it was sour smelling. It also smelled like steamed broccoli, which intrigued me to taste. Although I was nervous, I actually very much enjoyed this wine. It tasted similar to plums with hints of berry flavors. Its tannins were not aggressive, and I enjoyed not having a puckered mouth. The flavors were not too distinct - they almost seemed watered down. However, this wine was intriguing enough for me to want to taste again.
I tasted this wine on its own without food.
